Stop II

Temperature at departure = 50° F (10° C)

Do you get tired of hearing people complain about cyclists not stopping at stop signs? It has been just over a year since I posted the original Stop video. What the heck, the only new movie out this weekend is that thing with Nicholas Cage that looks like it will be horrible. So, for your viewing enjoyment, I present a sequel -- Stop II! Hey, it's short, free and filmed in that shaky hand-held style that is popular these days. With out further adieu, direct from this morning's commute...

Warren, you rascal, stop stirring things up. Everyone knows that cars are superior and can have a double standard. ;-)

You've found the MONKEY ELECTRIC ALLEYCAT checkpoint for Overland Park, KS.

Your skill test - explain to one motorist or cyclist the meaning of those red octagonal sign. Then ride your bike west to California and visit The Cycling Dude for your next checkpoint. You're almost done!

I remember the original stop sign video! Looks like you've upgraded your camera since then!

Great video. Cars are always the fist to tell the cyclist don't stop, they never look at themselves.

Like the shaky hand-held style.
That video was much scarier than that film shot in the same manner "Cloverfield".

Who are these idiots - cyclist who don't stop are just as big an idiot - I admit I have occasionally only slowed on my bike - I will do better

That's the way it's done here in BC.Next province over Alberta, you have to stop and count to three, a stop and go right away will get you pinched. Personally I think slowing down enough to see there is no hazard only makes sense. It saves the rider it save the brakes and gas.

Good for every-one.
